Sixth Form Bursary
The Sixth Form Bursary provides financial support for eligible students to help remove barriers to learning and ensure every student can participate fully in sixth form life. Designed to support students facing financial hardship, the bursary can help with essential education-related costs such as textbooks, uniform, stationary, equipment, and other key resources needed for successful post-16 study.
Through the government’s 16-19 Bursary Fund, support is available for students who meet the published eligibility criteria, including those in vulnerable groups and those requiring discretionary assistance due to household financial circumstances. Applications are treated confidentially, and students may apply at any point during the academic year as circumstances change. Full details of eligibility and the application process can be found in our bursary policy and application form below, or by contacting the Director of Sixth Form or Finance Office for further guidance.
To apply, please complete the application form, provide the supporting evidence outlined within it, and submit both to the Finance Department.
Once your bursary application has been approved, reimbursement claims should be submitted to Mr Croft using a completed claim form, together with all relevant receipts.
